The Porsche 997 had an extended production run from 2004 to 2012, making it one of the longest-running generations of the Porsche 911. The Porsche 997 reintroduced the iconic round headlights, reminiscent of the classic 911 design, after the controversial “fried egg” headlights of the previous 996 generation.
